New Making and Other Services

My primary focus is crafting new violin-family instruments. I enjoy working directly with players on custom commissions and also collaborate with select violin shops that represent my work. My violins and violas currently retail for $14,000, with cellos at $28,000. Please feel free to inquire about available instruments or to discuss a commission.

In addition, I offer setup, maintenance, and repair services to local players of all levels. Here’s a partial list of common services I provide:

In the interest of transparency, here’s a link to my 2025 price list for standard jobs. I understand why many shops are reluctant to post prices openly: every repair is different and a fixed sheet doesn’t easily capture the extra care that often goes into all the details. All the same, I put my best work into every instrument that comes through the door, regardless of its value or provenance, and I hope these prices reflect a reasonable balance for both my effort and the musicians in my community.
